Overview
Learn the purpose, structure and key requirements of ISO 45001:2018 — the international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This one-day programme gives workers, supervisors and managers the foundational knowledge needed to recognise workplace hazards, exercise their rights under ISO 45001:2018, and fulfil their individual OHS obligations in a certified or certification-seeking organisation.
Learning Objectives
This course will prepare you to:
Understanding
The purpose, structure and key requirements of ISO 45001:2018 including hazard identification, OHS risk assessment, worker participation rights, and the roles and responsibilities within an OH&S MS.
Recognising
OHS hazards, near-misses and nonconformities in everyday work, understand your right to refuse unsafe work, and know how to report incidents and contribute to continual OHS improvement.
